Documents Required to Obtain Cells From the UConn Stem
Cell Core
- Completed UConn Stem Cell Core Cell Request Form
- Documentation of ESCRO Approved Project with the
hESC line(s) requested1
- Documentation of license agreement for hESC line(s)
requested2
Notes:
1) The UConn ESCRO will forward the ESCRO approval to
the UConn Stem Cell Core upon request. Those from other
institutions must obtain a copy of ESCRO approval and
forward it to the UConn Stem Cell Core.
2) License agreements vary among hESC-distributing
Instutitons. The UConn Stem Cell Core has a "Core"
Agreement with WiCell. For WiCell lines, you must fill
in two copies of the WiCell SLA, have your Grants Office
sign both copies, and turn both copies in to the UConn
Stem Cell Core. For institutions other than WiCell,
contact the institution directly.
It is strongly
suggested that you have completed training or have
experience in
HESC culture techniques before attempting to
culture them.
To learn about HESC
training at the UConn Stem Cell Core,
