Time-lapse recording of stacks of optical sections through an embryo expressing GFP-tagged histone in most cell lineages. Timecourse progresses from ~40-cell stage through 1.5-fold elongation (100-430min after first cleavage) in ~2-minute time steps. Recording was made by 2-photon laser-scanning microscopy using a 900nm TiS laser. Slice-4D QTVR can be animated forward-backward in time and up-down in focus.
NOTE: QTVR movies are large, and may take several minutes to download in full. However, you can view the movie as it is downloading! Viewing all the way through the time dimension of a QTVR movie is possible when only 3% of the data has downloaded (usually within a few seconds). Navigation through space becomes more extensive as the download progresses, but will not be fully possible until the full file is downloaded. You can monitor the download by looking at the progress bar at the bottom left of your browser window. The downloaded file will reside temporarily in the "Cache" or "Temporary" folder for you browser. To save a local copy of the file, find the temporary version on your hard disk, and move/copy it to another folder.GFP::Histone H1, Slice-4D (QTVR)
